How and Why

Squadron 13 consists of both Senior Members and Cadet Members working in separate programs. At times, Cadets and Seniors collaborate toward meaningful projects and CAP missions. As a Composite squadron, our members contribute to all three of the core Civil Air Patrol missions: Emergency Services, Aerospace Education, and Cadet Programs. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, including business and community leaders, trade professionals, homemakers, professional pilots and more. We form friendships, learning new and exciting skills that support our place in the community, our futures, and the CAP mission. While we wear CAP uniforms when performing official duties to unite us toward a common mission, our individual talents and diverse experience help strengthen our Squadron's effectiveness in carrying our our mission, while keeping our experiences rewarding and enjoyable.
